Tottenham Hotspur has released a statement confirming it has punished supporters who made Nazi gestures.

During the recent Champions League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Eintracht Frankfurt, some Tottenham fans made Nazi gestures, leading to the club being punished by UEFA for racist behaviour.
Today, Tottenham’s official Twitter account issued a statement confirming punishment for the fans involved, which reads:
The club has learned that UEFA has imposed a sanction on us following the abhorrent behaviour of a small number of individuals during our recent away Champions League fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The club has fully cooperated with UEFA’s investigation, and also provided full assistance to the German police and the Metropolitan Police on the night of the match and in the period since.
We can confirm that three individuals seen performing Nazi salutes towards Eintracht Frankfurt fans have been identified and handed indefinite bans from the club under our sanctions and banning policy.
The club stands firmly against all forms of discrimination and has therefore imposed the strongest possible measures. The disgusting actions of a small number of so-called fans on the night in no way represent the values of our club or its supporters.
